CONSIGNEE’S REGISTRATION: ALL SHIPMENTS TO BELÉM, VILA DO CONDE AND SANTARÉM (BRAZILIAN STATE OF PARÁ)


Dear Customer,

We would like to draw your attention and inform you that, for all shipments to Belém, Vila do Conde and Santarém (ports of the Brazilian state of Pará), the consignees are supposed to be registered into port’s site named CDP (Companhia Docas do Pará) by accessing: http://www2.cdp.com.br/scap/.

In this sense, you are requested to inform consignees to register themselves into Port Authorities site latest one week prior to vessel arrival in order to avoid cargoes remaining on board, returned back to origin, as well as fine for failure to register as needed.

We would like to highlight that CMA CGM is not responsible for failures concerning this process under consignee’s responsibility. Merchant/Importer will bear the full costs, fines or penalties levied against Carrier in case of failure to comply with this resolution.

We would like to remind you that CMA CGM is attending the ports of Pará through CARIBRAZ and NBA services on weekly sailings.
